The Weekly Nugget: Episode 1
This is a new weekly video series I am going to do with the intention of helping bring value in a different way. It is very easy on an improvement journey to lose energy and focus. When you get the energy and focus back you may need a refresher on a Lean Tool or Principle. I am going to create these weekly and try to keep them very focused and short. They will be easily digestible and not require a lot of your time. You will be able to go back and grab the ones you need, whenever you need them. This one is focused on the Voice of the Customer, more specifically, internal downstream customers and verifying their requirements through a formal survey.
This video will give some tips on things you should consider when engaging your customers to collect data on your performance and their needs. This data will provide you with confidence in what you are producing or uncover opportunities for improvement. I encourage you to be proactive, and ask for this data before it becomes a problem.
